"SUPERSTAR" (Foreword Contributor Announced)

"SUPERSTAR"
Foreword Contributor

__________

"As one of her crazed super-
fans, I'm super-psyched that
Darla will be contributing
the foreword to Superstar."
-Christopher Long
__________

It's a compelling component of most major book releases — an engaging foreword from a prominent contributor, introducing and endorsing the author's story.

In 2010, famed music critic, Gail Worley, contributed the foreword to Christopher Long's debut memoir, A Shot of Poison. The foreword to his 2012 sophomore release, C'MON! was penned by Jeff "Blando" Bland, guitarist for the platinum-selling arena rock band, Slaughter. And in 2014, Chris' third book, Shout It Out Loud featured a foreword from popular Canadian author and speaker, Brent Jensen.

For Superstar, Chris hoped for a foreword contributor who possessed deep country music roots, as well as someone of great faith. To balance writing perspectives, Chris also felt strongly that the foreword be penned by a female. In the end, he got his "dream" contributor.

A celebrated musician, accomplished songwriter and music producer, Darla Rae Perlozzi has achieved incredible success in the male-dominated country music industry. For the last several years, Darla has toured as the drummer for country music legend, Mark Chesnutt. She's also written songs for the likes of country chart-busters, Big & Rich.

Acknowledged recently as Christopher Long's current favorite drummer, Darla Rae Perlozzi is an incredibly exciting fixture on today's thriving country music scene. And her heartfelt foreword will be a welcomed addition to the Superstar story.
